There is no hdd in this, its an ssd!

There was no need on replacing the ssd for an hdd if that was what you meant, and ram is fine too.

No, resetting bios will only fiddle with the settings, it will not format you disks

Bro my laptop struck on lenovo logo model is lenovo g580 and wont able to access bios and boot menu .
What if you don't have that of what you pressed.
You need to get into BIOS mode some other way. There will always be a way on every PC, but it can vary among manufacturers and models. Do you know what brand and model you have?
@@ViktorWingqvist yes its lenovo windows 10. And I don't know where to allocate the bios and when I went According to your video f1 did give me an option. I couldn't understand what they all meant
@@sabinaaddo4641 the operating system (windows 10 in this case) doesnt matter, since BIOS is a program that rund indepentently and even without windows. You can check for a label on your Lenovo and see if you can figure out the model name/number. I personally have the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro which I bought new in 2014. When you have your model you can try to Google "Lenovo + <model> + how to BIOS" and see if you can find it. While inside the BIOS you should be able to find "restore to default" or something similar. NOTE that never models night not have BIOS but instead something called UEFI. But it is basically the same process. Good luck!

That's the prblemm I had today: I have two Lenovos Z50. One with a 1TB HDD disk, with all my personal documentos; and the second with a 500 Gb HDD Disk. The first one is not working properly, Swith button on/off is not working properly. I diceded to take the 1TB HDD and installe it in the second computer which works properly, but at the end the result was : boot failed. I'll try your method.

Hi, the same problem here, The fix for me: Go to bios setup, then turn on Legacy boot, but select UEFI First. Problem solved!!

This worked for me. I also disabled Microsoft OneDrive. Between the two changes, my speed went way up! Thank you for making this. Also in check the web for "DPTC" I see that it has to do with keeping the CPU cool, not extending battery life.

hello, i have a question, there is something called pxe boot to lan, i have no idea what it is but it is below usb boot, should i disable or enable it? everything but that is the same for me so should i disable it, i even have the same laptop lenovo yoga 2

No, it is just resenting some settings, data should be fine if harddisk is fine.

Thanks so much for this fix. I didn't even know about that bios button. My Yoga was running SUPER slow using external monitor and keyboard/mouse only when the LID WAS CLOSED. Your solution fixed this issue!

You will have to google your model number and find our what keyboard combination will take you to BIOS. It is mostly DELETE key or one of the F keys that needs to be pressed while booting up
